Below are some examples of work carried out by AST LTD.

New door and entry system

Main entrance to block.

"Our residents require a new, secure communal entrance and door entry system."

AST LTD were able to offer a simple and reliable solution to aid with this request. We supplied and fitted a commercial aluminium entrance with a Sentinel  4+ system for access. A functional panel calls audio phones in each property from which residents can allow visitors to enter. Fobs, programmed on a secure database, were distributed to residents to present to the reader on the panel. New or replacement fobs can be ordered and posted to the residents or council representatives.

Automation to existing doors

Internal double doors.

"We would like to automate a pair of doors leading to the community lounge"

AST automated the internal entrance swing doors to aid access to the community room for the residents. Access and egress are granted by the push of a button. Although two door operators have been installed, the units are housed within one single cover to give a sleek and professional finish. Safety sensors are installed in compliance with British standard EN16005 to ensure monitored safety at all times.

Assisted living

New sliding entrance.

"Our existing entrance is tired and requires updating! The new door must work with our existing door entry and warden call system."

AST LTD were able to remove the existing double swing door entrance and replace it with a single sliding entrance. This gave a new sleek look to the front of the building, whilst ensuring that the residents and visitors still had full use of the door entry and warden call facilities.
